Cities around the globe are developing at a breath-taking pace. France and Hong Kong, while seemingly opposites at first glance: the former doted with historic cities, the later a city with sky-scrapers, are both at the forefront of city-transformation in terms of sustainability and fintech. In France, more than 500 urban sustainability projects have been rolled out since 2010 particularly in the Paris Region. On the other hand, Hong Kong has set up the Sustainable Development Fund and the Environment and Conservation Fund to make the city sustainable. Moreover, France is 2nd in the European Union in terms of fintech investment in 2021 while Hong Kong is ranked 3rd on the Global Financial Centres Index.
The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macao and Campus France are happy to be joined by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and 2 prestigious French business schools: IESEG School of Management and Skema Business School. The professors will take part in panel discussions on ‘Cities of the Future’. Students are invited to join in a stimulating exchange of ideas with professors alike from France and Hong Kong.
Alongside the panel discussions, a French booth will be held outside the room to give you more details about academic and professional opportunities in France. Whether you are interested in an exchange, a Master degree or a research project in France, come visit our booth and we will be happy to answer all your questions!
