DESCRIPTION OF INSTITUTION

L'École de design Nantes Atlantique is a non-profit private institution dedicated exclusively to design, and a member of the University of Nantes (40,000 students) located in Nantes (Western France).

We currently host 1,600 design students from 40 nationalities.

The degrees delivered by the school are recognized by the French state and the school is a member of the prestigious Conférence des Grandes Ecoles.

We offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs taught in English, in Nantes France. the school has 4 offshore campuses in Shanghai (China), Pune (India), São Paulo (Brazil) and Montréal (Canada), which host postgraduate programs taught in English.

Christian Guellerin is the Executive Director of L’École de design Nantes Atlantique, an institution of higher education in design, and Honorary President of Cumulus, the international association of universities and design, art and media schools. He is also President of France Design Éducation, a French association of design schools whose aim is to promote design and the applied arts.

Christian Guellerin is the author of numerous articles on design and pedagogy in France and abroad and teaches in several schools and universities.
