“French+Sciences” programs & scholarship: new sessions opened in 2024

Short stays scholarship

The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau and Campus France Hong Kong will provide 4 scholarships for the best selected students. This summer stay in France will enable you to acquire (or improve!) skills in French and discover France and its culture while learning more about science by combining French language courses with field visits of both companies and research organizations, conferences and exchanges with world-renowned scientists.

The scholarship includes :

-The cost for the program

-Accommodation

-Living allowance*;

-Round-trip flights Hong Kong/Macau – France

-Transportation to the study destination

- Health insurance (including public liability)

*The exact amount will be determined later.

 

Eligibility:

-Open to science major students between 18 and 25

-Fluency in English is required (B2),

-Permanent residency in Hong Kong or Macau is required*.

-All levels in French are welcome but an interest in the language is a plus.

*French nationals are not eligible for this program.

Attachments should be renamed in the following order:

2. Cover Letter (mention in the beginning the top 2 programmes that you would like to attend)

5. Latest transcript

6. A recommendation letter (If any)

Deadline of application for the scholarship: 5th of March, 2024

Please be advised that if you are selected, you will have to provide a short activity report within a month following the end of the program to the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau.

Accent français – Montpellier: “Focus on Sustainable Development”

Session date: 9 to 28 June 2024

Ciel Bretagne – Brest: “Science and Technology of the Sea”

 

Session date: 17 June to 5 July 2024

CLA – Besançon:  “Micro, Nano & Smart Technologies for Industrial Applications”

 

This session is designed in partnership with EIPHI-BFC Graduate School.

Session date: 3 to 28 June 2024 (4 weeks)

French in Normandy - Rouen: “Focus on Transportation & Energy”
